Quickly Filter Ads To Find Successful Campaigns

Every time you login to Anstrex, you will be automatically redirected to the listing page. This is your primary page where all your search/filtered results are displayed. Let's take a moment to get familiarized with this page.

Important Tip: The default view on the listing page shows the most recently added ads to our database. You can, of course, change this order.

Filter Menu Bar

This is the primary menu bar located at the top of the page. It allows you to apply quick filters and a sort-order to the results.

You will find following options in the filter menu bar:

  1. Ad Network - Allows you to select any one of the available ad networks (such as Taboola, RevContent etc.)
  2. Country - Allows you to select any one of the available countries (such as USA, Canada etc.)
  3. Platform - Allows you to select the device platform from the 2 available choices (Desktop & Mobile)
  4. Language - Allows you to select the language that was used in the ad copy (such as English, French etc.)
  5. Category - The category filter classifies the ads based on the landing page (such as Business, Science)
  6. Affiliate Network - If the ad is associated with an affiliate network, you can use this filter (200+ networks are available)
  7. Trackers - This option allows you to select a third party tracker that an advertiser may be using. We currently support following trackers
    1. Voluum
    2. Prosper202
    3. Binom
    4. AdsBridge
    5. CPVLab
    6. FunnelFlux
    7. ThriveTracker
  8. Technology - This filter allows you to find ad campaigns based on web technology used on the landing page. Here is the list of all the technologies we identify along with a brief explanation on how it can be used:
    1. WooCommerce: This is the e-commerce platform with highest market share. It runs on Wordpress content management system.
      Shopify: The gold standard for e-commerce platform. It is a paid product and therefore has lower market share compared to WooCommerce.
    2. Magento: Open source e-commerce platform with lower market penetration compared to the above two.
    3. PrestaShop: Another open source e-commerce platform from EU.
    4. Volusion: A relatively new e-commerce platform with smaller market penetration.
    5. BigCommerce: Another paid e-commerce platform alternative to Shopify. If you are looking specifically for e-commerce ad campaigns, you should try filters a-e.
    6. ClickFunnels: This is one of the most popular platform mostly used for lead generation and it will help you identify lead gen campaigns quickly.
    7. Wordpress: A content management system used by bloggers worldwide to create news and article based sites. These mostly rely on some kind ad arbitrage model for revenue generation where they buy cheaper clicks from native ad networks and generate CPM that yields positive ROI. This filter is ideal for content marketers.
    8. SearchAdsArbitrage: This is not a technology per se but a popular revenue/profit model for many native ad publishers. These publisher sites are able to obtain Google/Bing search ad feed and use high CPC keyword seeds on their site to display a page filled with only search ads. Since native ad clicks are available for pennies and search ads are typically sold at a significantly higher cost per clicks, this creates arbitrage opportunities. This filter is for publishers who want to focus on this type of business models and would like to find out what their competitors are doing in terms of target keywords and ad copy.
    9. AdsenseArbitrage: Many advertisers generate their ROI by advertising on various native ad networks which has lower Cost Per Click compared to Google/Adsense ads that they run on their site. These Google ads sell at a much higher CPC and hence we define such campaigns as AdsenseArbitrage.
  9. Sort By - Allows you to sort the results in a myriad of different ways. There are following sorting options available. Please remember that the default sorting order shows the newest ads in the database at the top of the listings page.

    3. Ad-Strength (Asc)
    4. Ad-Strength (Desc)
    5. Alexa Rank (Asc)
    6. Alexa Rank (Desc)
    7. Date-First-Seen (Asc)

    9. Date-Last-Seen (Asc)
    10. Date-Last-Seen (Desc)
    11. Duration (Asc)
    12. Duration (Desc)

You can choose maximum of one filter (if you want to select more than one, refer to Advanced Searching) from each drop-down menu as shown in the video demo below:

Now that you know how to apply various filters, the next question is how to reset/disable any given filter. Resetting a given filter is extremely easy. When you select a filter from the drop-down menu, you will have noticed various filter labels appear as shown in the image below.

You can reset an individual filter by closing (Clicking on the X button) the appropriate label as shown in the video demo below:

To reset all the filters (including search and sort), click on the Reset All button as shown below:

Slider Bar

Just below the Filter Menu Bar, you will see the Slider Bar section

The Slider Bar area has 4 sliders in total.

  1. Days Running Slider (2 handle)
  2. Alexa Rank Slider (2 handles)
  3. Ad-Strength Slider (2 handles)
  4. Ad-Gravity Slider (2 handles)

The sliders, basically, allow you to have a finer control over your results. Each slider has 2 handles which allow you to change both maximum and minimum values (in effect they work as a range filters) whereas the sliders with a single handle allows you to change only one value. In the video demonstrations linked below, you can see the Days Running and Alexa Rank sliders in action.

Search Box

Below the slider bar, you will find a search box that allows simple keyword and domain name search. To initiate the search after typing your search phrase, please hit Enter key on your keyboard or click on the magnifying glass icon () on the left.

Right next to the basic search box you will find a button labelled Adv. Search. Clicking on this button opens a modal where you can build a complex advanced searching query which is discussed in a separate article. It also has an option to perform image search which is discussed in detail in a future article.

User Drop-Down Menu

On the right hand corner of the page, you will find a drop-down menu located under your user name. This menu provides access to your profile and several other tools which will open up in a new tab in your browser. These are:

  1. Alerts - Allows you to set up criteria for email alerts and view your alerts
  2. Profile - Allows you to manage your user profile parameters
  3. Payment Info - Allows you to change your payment method, cancel subscription etc.
  4. Manage Favorites - Opens the favorites screen where your favorite ads are stored
  5. Manage Server Accounts - Allows you to configure your web servers for direct upload of landing pages
  6. Webpage Downloader - Facilitates downloading, editing and deployment of landing pages using the built in tool
  7. Landing Page Gallery - Allows you to view high performing landing pages that are available for customization and deployment to your server.
  8. Contact Us - Clicking on this will allow you to connect with us
  9. Log Out - log out from the app.
